Tranquility Bay is located on the quiet southwestern coast of Jamaica, in a foreign culture, far away from the distractions of the child's negative peer group at home. While the teens can work on academics and personal growth, they also gain insight on poor decisions of the past. No, this is not an exotic vacation experience! This is behavior modification and personal growth in action, in a secure and safe environment. The staff is very caring and committed, and the students flourish in this simple environment. Hand washing their own clothes in wash basins the same as the way the locals do, is humbling for the average American teenager! This boarding school is very cost effective as well.
